I LOVE Make-up, Ponytails, Water and Bows

I thought that I would spend this blog telling you all of the things that I love to do! To begin, one of my new favorite things to do is to take Mama's makeup bag out of her purse and then take everything out of it and put it back. I have learned to open the makeup and put it on. Everything goes on my cheeks no matter what it is. I tried to put some on G but put some on Mama and Daddy instead.
Here is George at 4 months. He is close to rolling over and it still getting bigger everyday. He has started sleeping in his crib without the Moses Basket. It was a really hard transition for Mama because she is sad that he is growing so fast.
Since my hair is so long now, I love to wear my hair in a ponytail. Mama and Daddy like it too but they think that it makes me look a lot older. I also LOVE my lovey's and "Hashie (passy.)"
I love to say "cheese" for the camera now but the only problem is this is what my face looks like when I say it. I have not gotten the hang of saying cheese and smiling at the same time quite yet but I am sure that I will soon!
I love to help my brother learn about the toys that I let him borrow. Tante gave me this when I was little so I told him that he could use it for a little while. I will turn on the music and lights for him and then turn on the vibrating seat. I am such a great helper.
I love the pool! Luckily, Miss Heather invited me and Mama to be their guest at the Jewish Community Center. I walked around the baby pool, splashed about, ate goldfish and just had fun in general.
My BFF, Georgia Jayne AKA "GA" was there and we have the same float. We are two peas in a pod! She shared her snacks with me. Morris Gee was there too but we did not get a picture with him though.
The next weekend, Mama and Daddy helped host a party for James, George's future best friend so we both got to spend the night with Mimi and Grandpa together for the first time. George had fun watching me play outside while hanging out with Grandpa.
Mama and Daddy forgot to pack my bathing suit so I got to swim in my clothes! I thought that was super funny. I had fun in my baby pool with all of my toys. George is too little to play in the pool yet but he does not have too long to wait.
After bath time, it was time to play again. I did my usual round of fun. I love to play with all of the silver on their shelves. I also love all of my toys and the little chairs around their house. Grandpa and I spent time building towers together.
Then I settled into going to bed mode by reading a few chapters in my favorite books. I also love books and love to be read to. I know the names of several of my books now and can pick them out if you ask for them.
As you can tell, I love bows! I get a little obsessive about them after I take my bath. I like to put them all in my hair still. I am such a girl. Then it was the end of the day and everyone was plum worn out! As you can see in this picture, George still loves his thumb!
The next morning we got up and spent the morning playing and then Mimi and grandpa brought us back after nap. Mimi was there all weekend but she was just taking all of the pictures. I hope to take some with her next time.
Like, I said before, I love to play with Mama's make-up and as you can see I have lipstick all over my cheeks! I am the perfect makeup artist for a clown!
I love my brother's smile! It brightens everyone's day! He is much more of a smiley baby than I was. He has some of the cutest clothes thanks to Aunt Betsy and Emily!
Sunday, we when over to Mary Beyer, Paul, Elizabeth and Sullivan's house to play in the sprinkler and water table. It was so much fun! Jack came over and we ate Popsicles and drank juice all afternoon! I love my friends!

To end my love blog, I am going to tell you what I love the most! I love that I have so many people that love me and my brother! We are so lucky! Thank you everyone for loving us so much! See you next time!

New Swing Set Just For Me and George!

Over the past several weeks, our lives have been turned upside down with all of the illness going around and this weekend was no different. Mama now has pneumonia and has been really sick. She went to the doctor though and is getting better every day. Because she has been sick, Daddy took us out of the house and we went to Mimi and Grandpa's for a visit.
We went for a stroll around the lake. I like to see the ducks! I can even make the same sound that they make.
When we got home, it was nap time for me and George and Daddy spent some quality time together. He likes spending time with Daddy.
Even though he is getting bigger every day, he is still so little! I think that it is funny to see him next to Daddy! That night, Daddy shared my sofa and we snuggled a little bit. I went through a phase where I did not like to snuggle at all but now you may get a few minutes out of me here and there. Mama and Daddy love my snuggles!
Then came the BEST day! Mimi and Grandpa surprised me with my very own swing set...well, it is mine until Georgie is old enough to play on it. It is the biggest bestest swing set in the whole world and it is mine!
First I thought that I would try out the swing to she how it was. It was everything I ever dreamed of! There are three swings for each stage. I am in the intermediate swing. George will be in the baby swing!
Then I climbed up in my fort and tried out the new slide. I feel so big when I am in my fort. I can climb the ladder all by myself. The slide is so much fun!
I of course had a very attentive audience as usual. Everyone loved to see how excited I was about my new toy!
After a while, I kicked off my shoes and decided that I just wanted to climb the slide. I was not thrilled about the way that the grass felt on my feet though. I guess I get that from my Mama. Thank you Mimi and Grandpa for such a wonderfully fun gift!! I am sure that you will get your money's worth of play out of it!
Lately, George has been watching me eat dinner. I have been trying to give him some pointers for when he starts his rice cereal in a couple of months. I like spending time with my little brother.
Here is George at 3 1/2 months. He so alert. He loves to smile and is a very laid back baby. Can you believe how big he is?!?!

End of the Party and Beach Trip!

Oh yes...the time has come for me to move up in the world so we celebrated in my class with an End of the Year Party! Mama and Daddy are so proud of everything that I have accomplished this year and just can't believe how much I have grown. Daddy came to celebrate with me but Mama was sick so she could not come.
I know all of my animal sounds and body parts. I know the names of all of my friends and family. I can say that I am 1! I also know lots of inanimate objects! I say them with lots of enthusiasm because I love to talk!
I am able to jump...well my form of jumping. I throw my hands in air and stomp one foot but it is jumping to me and everyone loves it! I am really steady on my feet and able to climb stairs and go down them too! Dancing is my favorite so every time that I hear music start I start swaying back and forth and bouncing. I also like to sign the moves for The Wheels on the Bus and The Itsy Bitsy Spider.
I love all of my friends. Even though we are all moving up together, we decided to give each other a going away hug. I love my friends! I am going to miss Miss Ora but Miss Hope will be moving up to my new class with me!!
Then came the first day of school for George and my first day in my new class! I really liked riding in the car with my brother and I was so thrilled that he was coming to school with me. Since I have been there for a while, I am going to show him the ropes. He will be so cool because all the older kids will know him because of me.
I started off my first day sharing some "a-shish" with Lily. She is one of my best friends. Daddy was sure to take lots of pictures for Mama because she ended up in the hospital with Meningitis just like George. Luckily, Daddy and I managed to stay healthy!
I was sure to introduce George to all of my friends! They quickly learned his name and call him Baby George. I am very protective of him though. I am quick to jump in front of my friends and make them back up if I think that they are getting too close.
George wore a cute John John on his first day of school. He has three teachers! Miss Yvette is his early morning caregiver and Miss Ruthia is his primary caregiver. He is in a group of 3 and the other two in his group are twins. Their Dad was George's initial pediatrician at UAB when he was born. It is such a small world!
I have also been showing interest in using the potty so Mama went to Babies R' Us and bought this singing potty just for me. At first, I thought it was a toy so I just sat on it fully clothed for a while!

Next, was the Skinner Family beach trip! We went to The Wharf down at Orange Beach! I loved the water and all of the slides! I got really good at going down them all by myself.
Mama got to use the double stroller that she got for her birthday. I loved riding in it with George. He could kick back and relax while I sat up alert to watch out for everything! I am such a great big sister!
At the Oasis, I had fun playing with the water sprays that came out of the ground. It was raining but it wasn't raining! How cool is that?!?
My friend, Lily was there. We were really confused about the both of us being around our family's! Everyone thought that it was fun to see us play.
Rob was there too and I followed his every move! He is a great role model. He brought me a beach surprise that included goggles, a bucket, torpedoes, and cars! I love my surprise, especially since it came from "Bob!"
After all of the other kids came, I got a little intimidated on the big slide so I started going down the little one. It was just my speed and I could do it over and over again very quickly.
Mama had fun walking me through the pool and under the waterfall. At first, I was not so sure about the water but by the end, I was running all through it!
Daddy had fun playing with me in the baby pool. It is not your run of the mill baby pool! It is an extra special baby pool!! We also took a trip to the beach and after about 30 minutes, I warmed up to and was a sand shoveling fool! I must take after my Daddy in the aspect of my life since Mama would not touch it at my age!
Rob and I had fun playing in the Alabama car outside all of the restaurants. I let Rob drive since he is older. I will drive for Matthew next year and then Matthew can drive for George.
To end the weekend, we rode the Ferris Wheel and it was so wonderful! I got to ride with my Aunt Betsy, Rob, Mama and Papa! I was not scared at all and loved waving at Uncle Robert, Nana and Daddy down on the ground! I also ate dippin dots for the first time! Thank you family for a wonderful week!
When we got back, we went to the park to play for a little bit. I ate my snack on the bench next to G. I get a silly look on my face when he sits next to me. He likes going to the park because he loved being outside!
The next day, we played on the couch for a while. I am a really good sharer so I let him play with my favorite lovey which happens to be Ducky for the moment. I also love my "Aff (Giraffe)."
I like to share my snacks with Daddy. I get really tickled when he eats crackers out of my hands so of course he does it because he loves my laugh. I have him wrapped!
George is now 3 months old and getting bigger every day! He is really smiling and even giggling a little. His legs are really strong so if you hold him, you better hold on! His head control is almost perfect so he doesn't bob around as much anymore.
He went to Mimi and Grandpa's house for the first time so he has to check everything out. He has heard me talk about how much fun I have over there and he is looking forward to getting to stay over there himself! Maggie was excited to meet her new nephew.
After looking over the inside of the house. He went outside for a peek. He really liked all of the bright colors and the warm breeze from the fan. He just sat there and chilled for a while...well as chilled as you can be in 95 degree heat!Just in case you did not know, I am giving garden tours now so you can contact my agent if you would like to participate.
Boy how George has changed in the first three months of his life! Every day he gets bigger and stronger and does more! It makes Mama a little sad because time flies by so fast! Daddy and her feel like it was just yesterday that I was G's age and look at me now!
Even though we are growing like weeds before every one's eyes, we will always be Mama and Dada's babies!
This is one of Mimi's favorite pictures of the two of us. Like I said before, I get really tickled feeding others! It is one of my favorite things to do! I am so lucky to have so many people that will do anything just to see my precious smile!

To end this weeks blog, I have a picture of George wearing one of the Onsies that Uncle David bought for me. I am letting George borrow it for a little bit. It has been a busy couple of weeks but so much fun! I love my new class! I loved the beach! I love my life!!
