George, Fall Festival, Friends....
We have some more BIG news! I am going to have a little brother in march! His name is George and we found out this week. Everyone is so excited including me! I am still the lone two legged girl grandchild. I think that I am going to love having a little brother. I told Mama and Dada that he could borrow some of my clothes but I don’t think that Dada is really thrilled about him wearing much pink. Please pray everyday for Mama and George for his growth and safe arrival!
This week was my very first Fall Festival at school and it was so exciting! I am going to tell you all about it! To begin the day, Mama and Dada of course had me dress the part in a cute outfit that Nana and Pops bought for me. Here is me and Dada before school. He wore orange in honor of the day. Unfortunately, it was also the Friday before the Alabama Tennessee game so everyone thought that he was supporting the wrong team. Thank you Dada!
At the festival they had this thing called a Moon Walk. Oh my gosh!!! It was so much fun!! Here is an action shot of me playing in it! I just could not contain my excitement in this thing!!! Oh, and as you can see, I miraculously made it through the entire day with my cute outfit on. Go me!
Hey...Let me outta here! Just kidding! I saw that I could look at everyone looking at me which I just thought was hysterical! I did my "Bazooka" laugh!
My class and the Baby Bunnies were in charge of the Duck Pond Booth. It was a huge hit among all ages. Basically this is the gist of it...you pick a duck out of the pond and you get to keep it. You can also just sit in the pond and play with the ducks. Plain and simple, I know, but everyone loved it! Mama thought that there was going to be much more too it but the prizes were the ducks. I took home two of them that are now my new bath toys! Here are my friends, Lexie, Lily and Lucy with me in the pond.
Hey...where is everyone? Saturday morning, Mama had to get some studying done so Dada took me out. We went to the football fields and the tennis courts. We took my shopping cart with me so that I could walk with nothing holding me back. I just walked and walked and walked...well you get the point. I certainly got my exercise and felt like such a big girl.
This is the painting that Mama and Dada won at the auction at the Fall Festival. My class painted it! My foot print in the one that is closest to me. They are very proud of my artistic abilities. I can't wait for them to get all of the artwork that I have made all year. I am pretty good with some finger paint you know!
Mimi and Grandpa came over for a little visit that afternoon and I was so happy! I had not gotten to spend time with Grandpa in a month. Mimi gets to see me really whenever because she works next door to my school. In fact, Thursday, she picked me up and I went and spent some time with her at her office until Mama got out of school. Here Grandpa is reading me a book which is one of my favorite pastimes.
I know it looks like Mimi and I are dancing. Who knows...we could be! She really liked me in my blue jeans on Saturday! That morning, they went shopping and bought me so many cute outfits and brought them over when they came for their visit! You can look forward to seeing them in my blog posts to come. I love getting new clothes and am very lucky that I have two sets of Grandparents that love to buy me new clothes!
Saturday night, Georgia Jayne and I along with our parents when to The Caz where we always have so much fun! Here GJ and I got into a chugging contest. I ate my usual and GJ got to try some as well. I think that she really liked the quesadilla!
Sunday, we got up and went to church and then Mama had to study again so Dada took me to Homewood Park. We took my shopping cart again and I walked all around the park! It is safe to say that the shopping cart is one of the best purchases that my parents ever made. Here I am wearing one of my new outfits that I mentioned before. This one has elephants on it and I wore it in honor of the big win on Saturday.
After the park, Dada took me over to see Brian and Paget. Paget thought that I was really cute and she loved my laugh. I am really glad that I finally got to meet her. I hope that we get to hang out again!
At Paget's, I got to meet Louis the Cat. He was just as curious about me as I was about him. At one point, he even stood on my chest with his paws and stared at me in the face. I think that cats are funny and I would love to have one if Mama weren't allergic and Gretchen weren't a D-O-G...don't tell her, she does not know!

The Caz!

Saturday afternoon we went to the park with the Stuckeys and the Dollars. The Dollars are some old/new friends of Dada's that just moved to Birmingham. They have twin boys and they are my new friends. Mama forgot to charge the camera so we do not have any pictures from that trip. We are going to try to start having play dates with them!
