George, Fall Festival, Friends....

We have some more BIG news! I am going to have a little brother in march! His name is George and we found out this week. Everyone is so excited including me! I am still the lone two legged girl grandchild. I think that I am going to love having a little brother. I told Mama and Dada that he could borrow some of my clothes but I don’t think that Dada is really thrilled about him wearing much pink. Please pray everyday for Mama and George for his growth and safe arrival!
This week was my very first Fall Festival at school and it was so exciting! I am going to tell you all about it! To begin the day, Mama and Dada of course had me dress the part in a cute outfit that Nana and Pops bought for me. Here is me and Dada before school. He wore orange in honor of the day. Unfortunately, it was also the Friday before the Alabama Tennessee game so everyone thought that he was supporting the wrong team. Thank you Dada!
At the festival they had this thing called a Moon Walk. Oh my gosh!!! It was so much fun!! Here is an action shot of me playing in it! I just could not contain my excitement in this thing!!! Oh, and as you can see, I miraculously made it through the entire day with my cute outfit on. Go me!
Hey...Let me outta here! Just kidding! I saw that I could look at everyone looking at me which I just thought was hysterical! I did my "Bazooka" laugh!
My class and the Baby Bunnies were in charge of the Duck Pond Booth. It was a huge hit among all ages. Basically this is the gist of it...you pick a duck out of the pond and you get to keep it. You can also just sit in the pond and play with the ducks. Plain and simple, I know, but everyone loved it! Mama thought that there was going to be much more too it but the prizes were the ducks. I took home two of them that are now my new bath toys! Here are my friends, Lexie, Lily and Lucy with me in the pond.
Hey...where is everyone? Saturday morning, Mama had to get some studying done so Dada took me out. We went to the football fields and the tennis courts. We took my shopping cart with me so that I could walk with nothing holding me back. I just walked and walked and walked...well you get the point. I certainly got my exercise and felt like such a big girl.
This is the painting that Mama and Dada won at the auction at the Fall Festival. My class painted it! My foot print in the one that is closest to me. They are very proud of my artistic abilities. I can't wait for them to get all of the artwork that I have made all year. I am pretty good with some finger paint you know!
Mimi and Grandpa came over for a little visit that afternoon and I was so happy! I had not gotten to spend time with Grandpa in a month. Mimi gets to see me really whenever because she works next door to my school. In fact, Thursday, she picked me up and I went and spent some time with her at her office until Mama got out of school. Here Grandpa is reading me a book which is one of my favorite pastimes.
I know it looks like Mimi and I are dancing. Who knows...we could be! She really liked me in my blue jeans on Saturday! That morning, they went shopping and bought me so many cute outfits and brought them over when they came for their visit! You can look forward to seeing them in my blog posts to come. I love getting new clothes and am very lucky that I have two sets of Grandparents that love to buy me new clothes!
Saturday night, Georgia Jayne and I along with our parents when to The Caz where we always have so much fun! Here GJ and I got into a chugging contest. I ate my usual and GJ got to try some as well. I think that she really liked the quesadilla!
Sunday, we got up and went to church and then Mama had to study again so Dada took me to Homewood Park. We took my shopping cart again and I walked all around the park! It is safe to say that the shopping cart is one of the best purchases that my parents ever made. Here I am wearing one of my new outfits that I mentioned before. This one has elephants on it and I wore it in honor of the big win on Saturday.
After the park, Dada took me over to see Brian and Paget. Paget thought that I was really cute and she loved my laugh. I am really glad that I finally got to meet her. I hope that we get to hang out again!
At Paget's, I got to meet Louis the Cat. He was just as curious about me as I was about him. At one point, he even stood on my chest with his paws and stared at me in the face. I think that cats are funny and I would love to have one if Mama weren't allergic and Gretchen weren't a D-O-G...don't tell her, she does not know!

Welcome to the world Matthew!

This is my new cousin Matthew. He was born Friday, October 17th and is so cute! I got to be there and see him and now I am not the baby anymore. He has a head full of dark hair and is just beautiful! When he gets older, I will have to show him the ropes!
After Matthew was born, we went back over to Uncle Robert and Aunt Betsy's to regroup. There, Rob shared his toys with me and Nana and Pops gave me a new cell phone and keys. You can see the cell phone in this picture.
Then we went back to the hospital and William was there! That's right, William from "Anne Harman loves William." He was so sweet to me! Here he is tickling me and making me laugh! I just love William!
Here, William is helping me walk! I am starting to get the hang of it and even took my first two steps this weekend. I have not done it since but it is a beginning! For dinner, we went to a steakhouse where I ate lots of food! Rob and I did so well at dinner even though it was way past our bedtime! We went straight to sleep when we got home.
The next morning, we woke up and ate breakfast. I had fun sitting at the table with Rob. We had nutragrain bars and fruit. At one point I got a little fussy and Rob tried to share his lovey with me. He is such a good sharer!
After breakfast, I found the gold mine! In their armoire there are a gazillion toys! I had fun taking them out and Rob had fun cleaning up after me. He likes to clean.
This is Nana playing with one of Rob's cleaning toys that came with his vacuum. I thought it was so fun when she tickled me with the duster.
Before we came back to Birmingham we went to the hospital for one last visit and I got to see Matthew again. I saw them wheeling him around in his bassinet and wanted to so it myself. For some reason, Mama did not really want me doing this but I think that I was a big help!
Sunday, we ate at Billy's and that is when Mama and Dada realized that I can drink from a straw. Most of the time I would swallow the water but sometimes I just wanted to let is drain from my mouth. My Overalls were soaking wet!
Then Nana stopped by on her way home from LaGrange. She read me lots of books and played with my toys. I hid behind the couch some which I thought was funny. She was glad that she got to see me again this weekend and so was I!
This weekend was wonderful because now we have a bigger family! I am so glad that Matthew was born healthy and happy. They say he is a really good baby and I am glad for Robert,Betsy and Rob. I can't wait to see him again!

The Caz!

Boy was this a fun weekend! It started with Friday night going to The Caz with the Stuckey's! Miss Heather, Mr Curt, Georgia Jayne (my best friend,) Sara Reeves and us had so much fun. It was the first time that Georgia Jayne ate dinner at a restaurant with a group and she loved it.
I ate my usual, which is a cheese quesadilla and rice. After eating so much, I was thirsty so Mama gave me some water through the end of a straw. I thought it was funny and kept wanting more because it was something different.
This is GJ (that's what I call her for short) and as I mentioned before, she is my best friend. She had fun eating pretzels and nilla wafers. One day she will be big like me and be able to eat quesadillas. Mama and Miss Heather thought that it would be funny so give us limes. I did not like it but it did not bother her one bit.
At the end of the night, Sara Reeves put a big hat on and we took one more picture before it was time to go. We had a blast and are going to start making it a Friday night ritual. Yea!
The wait is finally over! I left you hanging, wondering how cute I look in my new pajamas and now you know! These are my first pair and I LOVE wearing them. I wore them Friday night for the first time and this is me Saturday morning doing what I do...taking everything off of the coffee table and put it on the floor. They keep me so warm and I have Sarah and John to thank. Thank you Sarah and John!
Saturday afternoon we went to the park with the Stuckeys and the Dollars. The Dollars are some old/new friends of Dada's that just moved to Birmingham. They have twin boys and they are my new friends. Mama forgot to charge the camera so we do not have any pictures from that trip. We are going to try to start having play dates with them!
Sunday, we woke up early and went to church. I wore one of the cute outfits that Nana and pops gave me. I got the play in the nursery until communion. I like communion because I get a blessing from the priest and it makes my week so much better. Here is another picture of me before church and I am with my Dada! He is the best Dada and I love him very much! Thank you for being the best Dada I've ever had Dada!
Sunday afternoon, I found Gretchen's toy box and decided to play with her toys and not my own. She did not like it very much so she tried to take them outside to get them away from me. She had a hard time getting them through her Gretchen door and this is where we found them. If you notice, the elephant even has a leg through the door! Good try Gretchen! Since I looked so cute in my other pajamas, Mama and Dada bought me a few more pairs. This is a pair that Dada got me and I had to show them off in a picture. As you can see, another busy weekend as usual! See me next week!

My nose has been itchin'

That's right! My nose has been itching all week long and now I know why! I had lots of visitors to come bye this weekend...to see me of course! To begin, my Great Aunt Melissa and Second Cousin Sarah drove in from Gainesville, Florida. They have seen me twice but not like the big girl I am now. I showed them all of my "tricks" including patty cake, if your happy and you know it, pulling up, cruising, crawling...well you get the point! This is Sarah and me. I had fun playing with her and showing her my toys. She brought me a gift from her and John, that's her boyfriend. In the gift was a blue jean dress, pink pajamas and a bunny rattle. Stay tuned to the next blog for pictures of me in the pajamas...my first pair! I have been playing with the bunny but the trick is keeping it from Gretchen. This is Melissa. She is Mimi's sister and I had fun doing the raspberries for her as you can see in this picture. She thought that I was so funny! I spent about 30 minutes of the afternoon walking in a circle behind my walking toy. Everyone had a position to help keep me walking. I am so glad that they came to visit me!Here's Mimi and Me playing with the music doll that the Farmers gave me. I always make such beautiful music.
Here's me and Grandpa during the Alabama game. He is wearing a Georgia Tech shirt but cheers for Alabama during our games.
Sunday, Nana and Pops came to visit me after church so Mama dressed me in one of the cute outfits that they bought for me. I love to read and I spent the afternoon choosing books for them to read to me and handing the books to them. Who could refuse that?! Here Pops is pointing to baby and I am learning to point to things that I know. If you ask me to get my ball I will pick it up and hand it to you.
Here is one of those times that I was handing books to Pops and he decided that it was a good time for a picture. I love to have my picture taken!
This is Nana and me reading the Peek-a-Boo bedtime book that they got for me. She was very impressed that I know how to do the peek-a-boo part of the book all by myself. I also know which tab to pull on the itsy bitsy spider book and I love the touch and feel books!
Here I am with Pops! This was towards the end of the day and I was worn out. That night I went to bed early and went straight to sleep instead of staying awake and playing with my toys in my crib. This was a great weekend and I am very lucky to have so many visitors!
On a side note, I have uploaded a new video to you tube "Anne Harman loves Ravioli...so does Gretchen." You can check it out by clicking the link on the side! Hope you enjoy!
