Happy Anniversary!

Wednesday was Mama and Dada's third anniversary! They say that a lot has happened in that 3 years but they have all been wonderful! I am so glad that they found each other because I would not be here! They went out on a date that night to Flemming's and a movie so I spent the night with Mimi! It was just us girls since Grandpa was out of town. They bought me this rocking bug but we could not figure out how to work it. After calls to Grandpa and Walmart we finally figured it out! I am learning good teamwork skills!
Then it was time for bed and I decided to check out the toys in my Radio Flyer wagon. It was a great photo-op since I look so cute in my pajamas!
The next morning it was time for school and I got dressed in one of my cute outfits from Mimi and Grandpa! I took a little rest break in my chair. It is just my size! School was very eventful that day and I debated on whether or not I would write about it on my blog but I knew that Dada would be very disappointed if I did not tell everyone. I beat up the bully in class. I know... I should not have done it but I had just had enough. He is always hitting me and my friends and that day, he pushed me too far. My teachers said that all of a sudden they heard a ruckus and saw me on top of him. Needless to say, he has not bothered me since. I guess I showed him who's boss! Dada was so proud of me that he called all of friends!
This week, I have not been myself. I have not been feeling very well and Mama and Dada thought that I was just teething. I have not been eating very well and that is VERY unusual for me since I am a very good eater. Come to find out, I caught the stomach bug going around my school. Unfortunately, Mama and Dada caught it from me yesterday and were very sick! Since Mama is expecting, she had to go to the hospital to have some IV fluids and Dada had to take her even though he was sick too. Mimi came and picked me up and took me to church to play with my friend Luci. I hope that everyone feels better soon.

Mimi and Grandpa's

This week was full of going to Mimi and Grandpa's house! This Saturday, I spent the entire day with Dada because Mama helped her Doctors with the resident interviews at UAB. We started off our morning at Brookwood Mall, where I just love to go! Then we ventured out to Mimi and Grandpa's house where I went on an icy adventure. I found a polar bear in their house!! Well actually it was on the television but it is so big that it seemed to be in the room with us! Then we went home to eat some lunch and then nap time. When I awoke, Mama was home and we all played around the house. I had a wonderful time going visiting with Dada! He is the BEST Dada in the world!
Thursday night, I got to spend the night with Mimi and Grandpa because Mama and Dada had a breathing and relaxation class at UAB to prepare for George's arrival. That night, I had more fun with the spray bottle! I have one at home too but this one is much bigger than mine. Maggie thought that I was crazy to want to be sprayed with it as that it was they use for punishment for her. All you have to do is show her the bottle and she will straighten up quickly!
Once I had a hold of the bottle there was no stopping me. I kept taking it to Mimi and Grandpa and tilting my head back so that they would spray me! What more could you ask for?!?!?
I also had a great time riding on my Lion. They have the best toys at their house. It is like going to a fun land! This week was so much fun and I think that Mimi and Grandpa enjoyed it as much as I did! I think that they love me just a little...actually, I know that they love me a lot!

Tubes...I can hear!

On New Years Eve, a whole new world opened up for me when I got tubes! We had to be there bright and early so Nana and Papa came and spent the night with us the night before. The whole family was there to see me off, which made me feel very special. Mimi made Mama, Dada and me a special care package to help keep me busy during the wait that was much appreciated! I did great and was back home within 3 hours. I really did great all day and just took a couple of naps. The worst part is the ear drops. I do not like them very much at all! Hopefully, I will not get as many ear infections anymore and I will be able to hear better.
Friday, Mama and Dada got me dressed up in my new Alabama outfit from Nana and Papa and we went to Brookwood Mall for a stroll. It has been really cold outside and I have had a lot of pent up energy so Dada found that if we go first thing in the morning, all of the stores are closed and I have free reign. It is really fun and I feel like I have so much freedom. I also like to stop for a snack and watch people through the big window.
Sunday was Rob's first birthday so we drove over to LaGrange for the day. He had a snowman party and it was a lot of fun! I like to play with the big kids! He got lots of great presents and seemed to be really excited about the gift the we bought for him which was a motorcycle shirt and hat.
I had fun with Charlie who is just 4 weeks older than me. We read books and played with toys together. He likes the motorcycle as much as I do!
I am learning to eat with a fork now and doing a pretty good job. I liked the birthday cake! After cake, it was time for some exercise so Dada took me out to the front yard and I ran in circles for a while! I love their yard!
Then Rob let me ride his new scooter. Dada helped me around the driveway on it and I just laughed!
Then it was my turn to ride the motorcycle! It was a lot more fun to ride in the driveway than it was to ride in Nana and Papa's living room! I was home free!
Matthew had a great time at the party as well and we thought that all of his beautiful hair would make him a great candidate for a bow! I let him borrow one of mine for the picture. Deed and Mama just thought it was hysterical but don't tell Uncle Robert. Boys aren't supposed to wear hair bows!
Then is was time to go home and Aunt Betsy gave me my party favor which was a scarf, play dough, and snowman cookie cutter. The party was so much fun and I can't wait to go back for another visit soon! What a great week!
