On New Years Eve, a whole new world opened up for me when I got tubes! We had to be there bright and early so Nana and Papa came and spent the night with us the night before. The whole family was there to see me off, which made me feel very special. Mimi made Mama, Dada and me a special care package to help keep me busy during the wait that was much appreciated! I did great and was back home within 3 hours. I really did great all day and just took a couple of naps. The worst part is the ear drops. I do not like them very much at all! Hopefully, I will not get as many ear infections anymore and I will be able to hear better.

Friday, Mama and Dada got me dressed up in my new Alabama outfit from Nana and Papa and we went to
Brookwood Mall for a stroll. It has been really cold outside and I have had a lot of pent up energy so Dada found that if we go first thing in the morning, all of the stores are closed and I have free reign. It is really fun and I feel like I have so much freedom. I also like to stop for a snack and watch people through the big window.

Sunday was Rob's first birthday so we
drove over to
LaGrange for the day. He had a snowman party and it was a lot of fun! I like to play with the big kids! He got lots of great presents and seemed to be really excited about the gift the we bought for him which was a motorcycle shirt and hat.

I had fun with Charlie who is just 4 weeks older than me. We read books and played with toys together. He likes the motorcycle as much as I do!

I am learning to eat with a fork now and doing a pretty good job. I liked the birthday cake! After cake, it was time for some exercise so Dada took me out to the front yard and I ran in circles for a while! I love their yard!

Then Rob let me ride his new scooter. Dada helped me around the driveway on it and I just laughed!

Then it was my turn to ride the motorcycle! It was a lot more fun to ride in the driveway than it was to ride in Nana and Papa's living room! I was home free!

Matthew had a great time at the party as well and we thought that all of his beautiful hair would make him a great candidate for a bow! I let him borrow one of mine for the picture. Deed and Mama just thought it was hysterical but don't tell Uncle Robert. Boys aren't supposed to wear hair bows!

Then is was time to go home and Aunt Betsy gave me my party favor which was a scarf, play dough, and snowman cookie cutter. The party was so much fun and I can't wait to go back for another visit soon! What a great week!
