BIG GIRL BED and Happy Father's Day!

So I spent the night with Mimi and Grandpa, in my Thursday ritual so that Mama could study for her first test of the semester...she did great! I put on my bathing suit and played in the pool and on the slide. I also took one of the cutest pictures that I have taken in a while! I am so sassy!
On the way home from school, we bought some plants, so I helped Mimi plant them in the garden in between swims. Then it started thundering so we had to go inside, you know, like when they blow the whistle at the pool. We played inside and then I ate a GREAT dinner, almost a whole can of ABC's and 123's! Then I colored, but was not happy when one of the crayons broke so I wanted to throw it away. The next day was Doughnut's with Dad at school and Mimi took pictures for me to post on the blog! George was in my room so that we could all eat together. I really enjoyed my doughnut! That week we made special surprises for Daddy that I think that he is really going to like! We have the best dad!
As you can tell, George healed up fine! You can's even tell that he got beat up by a girl! He got his tubes on June 14th and everything went great! He is back to his old self again! Also, he loves powdered doughnuts so if you want a way to his heart, bring powdered doughnuts! Nana also taught him to say "HEY!" when you ask him what a George says! Too Cute! He can also say Thank You!
Last weekend, Owen invited me over for dinner so I asked if my family could come and he said sure. It was so much fun over there! They had pools set up in the back yard. We brought over some happy meals and had picnic and I crashed into the fence on Owen's John Deer at about 20 mph...got my first bloody nose but lucky, that is all that happened. A band aid made it all better for me but Mama and Daddy are still having flashbacks! After dinner, we all played with Owen's toys and I read everyone books. Mr Tony sat in the toy chest and we all thought it was really funny!
Then it was Daddy's turn to join in the fun! Owen and I got him at the same time thinking that we could get him with double the power! We did pretty good for little people!
By the end of the night, George was in a daze. Last time, he just went to sleep but this time he did not want to miss out on any of the action. Good thing he didn't because then he would have missed the indoor cupcake picnic that we had in the living room. I love icing! The next day, Mama and Daddy rearranged the furniture so that I could get into a big girl bed. We moved the one in George's room to my room and moved all of the toys into his room. I like to bring my books to bed with me now and read them by flashlight. When Mama and Daddy are on the porch, they can see my light flashing and they think it is cute! I feel like such a big girl now! Like a big girl, I can say my prayers all by myself at night! I am growing up too fast!
Nana and Papa stopped by to see me for a bit and were so proud! I gave them the tour and they love how it has really opened up my room! By the way, this week when you ask me a question I will answer "I think so" instead of "yes!" It is really cute! I am also completely potty trained now and actually told Mama that I was "poncetilated" this week! I think that you can figure out what I meant! Sunday, everyone came over to my house to celebrate Father's Day! Once again, I loved having all of my favorite people all together and so did George! I delivered all of the gifts to everyone. That is a very special job and I take it very seriously. Everyone loved their gifts and cards! I thought they were really cute...pictures of George and me, who could go wrong! Before dinner, we played on the porch and I wanted to do Basketball Harmie! We ran all over the yard and all over the house! We know how to have a good time when we are all together.
All of that playing made me need a Popsicle so I chose green and then showed off my green tongue to everyone. Green is my favorite color, like Mama!
After dinner, it was time for my performance! This week at school, I learned the Macarena! I know that this picture is a little blurry but you can get the picture. Mama found the music on the computer and I went to dancing! I am headed straight for So You Think You Can Dance! Happy Father's Day!!

G's 1st Haircut, Black Eye and Other Stuff!

So after much talking and thinking, Mama finally decided that it was time for George to get his first haircut! What a major milestone! So as you can see, he was going for the sophomore in college look. You know, after they finish pledge ship and before they need to start really thinking about their future.
Everything started out fine, but by the end, he was screaming! The man that cut it was really nice and patient though and even gave him a lollipop afterwards! He really just did some shaping but it looks really good!
As you can tell, it looks much better! Now it is out of his face so that you can see how cute he is! Papa likes the military look on George. Daddy thinks that he could have gone even shorter. I think that all in all, George did incredibly well for his first time.
That week, George had to go to the doctor because he had double ear infections. We decided that it was time for him to go to the ENT to discuss tubes. You see, I got tubes when I was 13 months and have not really been ill since. We are hoping that it does the same for G. That weekend, we went to Tuscaloosa and had water fun land in the back yard.
Mimi and Grandpa came in town to cook out and I got to show them all of our new water fun toys. We have a pool, slide and Dora mat that shoots up water! After pool time, I showed Grandpa and thing or two about dressing Mable. Mable was glad to visit Tuscaloosa and I was glad to have her there!
Then Mama got some snuggles from little Georgie! When I was a baby, I have a similar photo of me and Daddy on Lee and Mark's boat. It is one of Mama's favorite pictures of all times! It was fun having all of my favorite people in town! Everyone was a little nervous due to the fact that we were starting our new class the next week! We are really going to miss Ruthia, Vette, Martha, Net, Hope and Denise! They are the best!
The next weekend, Daddy took Mama, George and me to Ijump. Mama had never been before so I showed her the ropes. She was very impressed with my abilities! There were all of these fun slides and obstacle courses!
George had fun just running around like a wild man! He was all over the place. Mama and Daddy definitely got their exercise chasing us around. It was the perfect place to go when it is so hot outside!
There is a baby room that we played in for a while. They had this great big thing of balls that we could roll around in. I had fun tackling George in them. That afternoon, we went to the Homewood pool for a dip and then ate Mexican food. For the record, I still LOVE quesadillas!
The next day, we went to the zoo and for the first time, saw the Sea Lion training. It was really neat to watch them do tricks but it would take more than smelly fish to get me to do those things! George followed me to the window for a closer look.
Then I got to feed my favorite animal! That's right, the giraffe! First I fed it a pellet from my fingers! I was not scared at all even when it's black tough starting coming towards me! Then I got to feed it some grass. I felt like such a big girl! Once again, I was not scared at all! We thought that it would be a good idea for George to help by "watching" (one of Papa's favorites!)
I know that you will think that it is crazy but we did not know that the petting zoo at the zoo existed so it was a whole new world over there! I got to pet a billy goat. Since I was a child, I have known his language so I made him comfortable by saying "Maa!"
Once again, we were afraid that George might grab the Goat so we just let him play in the mist fan. He was perfectly happy because he LOVES water. We thought that his hair looked funny after being in all of the mist!
Then I got to ride the carousel for the first time. Can you tell that I am having so much fun! Daddy loved seeing my enthusiasm. I chose what I call the baby jaguar, you know, like from Dora! I did not want it to end but did not even pitch a fit when it was time to get off.
So after a fun morning, we went home for nap and then decided to go look for big girl beds. We were at Ashley furniture and I was really excited and started hugging George from behind. Then I got a little rough and he hit his eye on a bed frame. It started bleeding and swelling so we had to make another trip to the ED at Children's. While there, I got to play with gloves and pretend that I was a doctor. George showed off his animal sounds. He can say what a duck, cat, lion, dog and monkey says!
The doctors said that he will heal up nicely and that we did not need stitches since the cut was in the crease. Mimi and Grandpa came and got me from the hospital and talked to me about being more careful. I whispered to George the next day that I was sorry but don't tell anyone!
