Party, Party, Party

This week was my first ever Halloween Party! We had chicken salad sandwiches, cookies, cupcakes, Cheetos, bottles...you name it! Mama brought balloons and tied them to our chairs for minutes of excitement! This is me and my friend, Owen. He is pretending to talk on his Dada's cell phone. I like to do that too.
Here I am showing Mama my cookie and trying to share it with her. For some reason she did not want to take a bite. It was really good to me though.
After the party, Mama, Dada and I went to Georgia Jayne's house to get ready for the Halloween Parade that we were asked to attend. While we were waiting on them to get home, I had fun playing in the front yard. I did not really like the way the pine straw felt.
Mama tied some balloons to my shopping cart and filled it with candy and I practiced walking for about 15 minutes. I love my shopping cart! Thank you Dada!
Then GJ got home from school and played with me. She is sitting up really good now so it is easier for us to play together. I know that we are both wearing orange...we planned it.
Then Mama and Miss Heather dressed us up in out costumes and it was time to go. I helped Dada carry his drinks to the party, well at least for a few pictures. I am such a big girl.
Here we are dressed as two peas in a pod! It was Miss Heather's idea, since that is what we are. It was the First Annual Hornbuckle/Stuckey Costume Combo! We can't wait for next year.
Then we headed down to the parade. Not many of us could actually walk so you can see us in our strollers and wagons. Next year it is going to be even bigger!
Then it was time to go home and so we walked back to Miss Heather and Mr Curt's house. As you can see in this picture, my costume was a little short so you can see my cute Mono-panties. Oh well! I am just a really tall little girl!
At their house it was time for one last photo-op...us with our Dadas! Mr Quinton, Mac the Hippo, Mr Curt, GJ, Dada, and me. I think that it is a pretty cute group!
Saturday morning, Mimi came over and picked me up because Mama and Dada were going to LaGrange for Matthew's Baptism. I had a really busy day and night at their house. I loved playing with cars on the hardwood floors. Here I am wearing another cute outfit that they bought for me. It has a giraffe on it!
I loved pulling the pots and pans out of the cabinets. They have play cabinets and NO cabinets like at my house.
They also have a push car for me to play with in the front yard. I hope that I can get one of these at my house because they are so much fun!
Sunday morning before church, I found the colander and thought that it would make a great hat. I think that yellow is my color. Then is was time for church and I wore the pretty fairy dress that they also bought for me. They said that I was really funny at church. Grandpa was ushering and when he passed me sitting with Mimi, I wanted him to pick me up so he did and I got to help usher. I think that I may be the youngest usher yet! Thank you for letting me Vaca at your house Mimi and Grandpa. It is always so much fun!To make the weekend complete, Nana and Pops dropped by for a little visit on their way back from LaGrange. We read books and played with my toys and then ate at my favorite place, The Caz. They were impressed with how well I eat my quesadilla. Nana also got a quesadilla because she was trying to be like me! I wore my elephant dress again in honor of Alabama winning again...9-0!
One last note for this week...this is my last blog being only "months old." This coming weekend I will be turning the big ONE! So much has happened in my life and I am thankful to all who have made it so special. I am very luck to have such wonderful family and friends! I am really looking forward to my party this weekend and next time you hear from me I will be a whole finger!
Check out the new video I posted titled "Anne Harman's New Tricks."
